At rest Friday April 17, 2009 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his loving family by his side. Survived by children DeAnne (Kelly) Koran, Craig (Karen), Bryan (Lori); grandchildren Matthew and Amber Koran, Cade and Colin Horvath, Olivia and Jack Horvath; aunts and uncles Dorothy (late Joseph) Lakotich, Delores (late Leonard) Suhadolc, Rose (Louis) Meyers, Theresa (Nick) Rousonelous, Maryann (Joseph) Pluth, Robert (Joanne) Horvat and Raymond (Gladys) Horvat as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph J. Jr. and Eileen E. (Rosenberg) Horvath, brother Robert C. Horvath. Born in Joliet Employed by Prudential Insurance as a Senior Field Manager Claims Adjuster. Loved golfing, bowling, fishing, and riding his Harley. Die hard Green Bay Packers and Chicago White Sox fan. All his grandchildren meant the world to him.
From were services will be held Thursday April 23, 2009 at 9:30 AM to St John Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Visitation Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
