Joseph Arthur Gasparich, age 63, at rest on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Loyola Medical Center.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Anna (nee Jazwinski); daughters, Christina (Andrew) Witt, Stephanie (Chico Gersappe) Gasparich; grandchildren, Alex and Ryan Witt; father, Joseph L. (the late Helen) Gasparich; siblings, James (Mary Jo), Mary Beth Jessee, JoAnn (Len) Rittof, Robert (Adriana), William, Ann (John) Naal, and Patricia (Scott) Multack. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and an uncle also survive.
Preceded in death by his mother, Helen (nee Lazar) Gasparich; paternal grandparents, Matthew and Mary (nee Plese) Gasparich; maternal grandparents, Peter and Helen (nee Obsitnik) Lazar.
Joseph resided in Joliet for his entire life and graduated from Joliet Catholic High. Baby Joe was an electrician for the IBEW Local 176 as well as Stateville Correctional Facility. Joseph was a member of the Coal City Area Club and enjoyed spending his time there fishing and camping with his family and friends. He was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed following the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Blackhawks. His grandchildren were the light of his life and he loved spending every moment with them. Joseph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother who will be dearly missed.

There will be a memorial visitation on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service to be celebrated in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Per Joseph's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
