Joseph R. Foschi

At rest on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Joseph was the son of the late Edward and Theresa (nee Zitello) Foschi, also preceded in death by one sister, Maria Lavazza and brother Edward Foschi. Survived by Lea Foschi; Daughter Monica (William) Burt; Grandson William Burt Jr., Brother and Sisters Alfred W. Millie (Ray) Hayes, Shirley (late Richard) Lilek and Phyllis (George) Comerford and Brother-in-law Phillip Lavazza. One Aunt Mary Caruso and one Uncle Albert Zitello. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joseph attended Chaney Grade School and later entered into the sewer, water, excavating and wrecking business with his brothers under the name of Foschi Brothers.
Joseph was an operator for G-Three Construction Company and Joliet Sand and Gravel Company until his retirement in 1998.
He was a member of the Teamsters Local 179 and Operating Engineers Local 150.
Tezak"s Home to Celebrate Life From where services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 9:30 AM to St. Anne Church with Rev. John Doyle officiating for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Friday from 2-8 PM.
