Jose "Welo" Luna

Jose "Welo" Luna, 79 of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice. Jose was born on February 21, 1939 to Arnulfo and Felisiana (Salais) Luna.

Jose is survived by his wife, Rosa (Sierra), of 56 years, his two daughters, Nellie and Rosalinda (Ramirez) Luna, his brother Juan and sister, Maria (Guzman) Luna.

He worked in the steel industry for over 35 years and was continuously recognized for his excellent work ethic. Jose enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his 10 grandchildren, Junior, Danny, David, Chris, Nick, Erica, Andy, Adriana, Karissa and Aidan. Private family services were held.
