José Manuel Chávez Lozano, de 50 años, de Joliet, falleció el Viernes 23 de agosto de 2019 con su familia a su lado.
Amado esposo de Marisela; padre amoroso de José Luis, Edgar y William Chávez; querido abuelo de Luna; querido hijo de Carmen Lozano Sandoval; querido hermano de Amalia, Isabel, Blanca, Prieta, Álvaro, Chayo y Ángel, seguido también numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos y primos.
Precedido en muerte por su padre, José Chávez Barajas y su hermano, Erasmo Chávez Lozano.
José Manuel y su esposa le gustaba disfrutar con familia y amigos en su casa. A José Manuel Le apasionaba cantar karaoke. A el le gustaba cantar sus dos canciones favoritas una, otra, y otra vez “Amor de los Dos” y “Hermoso Cariño”.
José Manuel era una persona muy amable y cariñosa, le gustaba ayudar a los demás, sin esperar nada a cambio. Su actividad favorita y absoluta era cocinar para su familia: hacerlos sonreír, y verlos disfrutar de su comida.
La familia de José Manuel solicita que amigos, parientes e invitados se vistan de blanco para las visitas a la funeraria el Jueves y también a la misa del Viernes.
Visitación será el jueves 29 de Agosto de 2019 en la funeraria Tezak, 1211 Plainfield Road, en Joliet, de 3:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m.
y nuevamente el Viernes por la mañana de 9:00 a.m. a la hora de las oraciones. La celebración de la vida de José comenzará el viernes 30 de agosto de 2019 con oraciones en la capilla de la funeraria a las 10:20 a.m. y luego conducirá en procesión a la Iglesia Católica St. John en Joliet para celebrar una misa de entierro cristiano celebrada a las 11:00 am seguido del sepelio en Woodlawn Memorial Park en Joliet.
Jose Manuel Chavez Lozano, age 50, of Joliet, passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 with his family by his side.
Beloved husband of Marisela; loving father of Jose Luis, Edgar and William Chavez; cherished grandfather of Luna; dear son of Carmen Lozano Sandoval; dear brother of Amalia, Isabel, Blanca, Prieta, Alvaro, Chayo and Angel; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his father, Jose Chavez Barajas and his brother, Erasmo Chavez Lozano.
Jose and his wife enjoyed entertaining family and friends at their home. He was passionate about singing and especially karaoke where he loved to sing his two favorite songs over and over “Amor de los Dos” and “Hermoso Cariño”. Jose was a kind soul and loved to help others, expecting nothing in return. His absolute favorite thing to do was cook for his family and make them smile, seeing them enjoy his food.
Jose’s family requests that friends, relatives and guests please wear white to the visitation at the funeral home on Thursday and also to the funeral mass on Friday.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 9:00 am until the time of prayers. A celebration of Jose’s life will begin on Friday, August 30, 2019 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 10:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. John’s Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
