Loving father of Mary Lynn (James) McCoy of Lisle, IL., Jane (Bob) Mitchell of Shorewood and Sally (George) Podolski of New Lenox, dearest grandfather of Michael P. and Kelly A.(Bradley) Metzger, Andrea Mitchell, Joseph and Jeffrey Podolski. Preceded in death by his wife Victoria (nee Papesh) Setina, parents Joseph and Ursula (nee Jonta) Setina, six sisters Mary Kamnikar, Gussie Ospalik, Ann Ferak, Frances Lesh, Rosemary Setina and Josephine Fox, two brothers Joseph and Theodore Setina. John was born in Joliet and a life long resident, retired 1984 from Commonwealth Edison after 37 years of service, member of the Joliet Elks, was an usher and volunteer for many years for St. Joseph Church. A celebration of John"s life will begin Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the funeral home with prayers at 9:30, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10AM at St. Joseph"s Catholic Church, Joliet. Interment will be at St. Joseph"s Cemetery, Joliet. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8PM.
