Age 83. Passed away peacefully on Friday April 13, 2012 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home with his family by his side.

Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carol A. (nee Rodeghero) Randich. Loving father of; John (Gail), and Steve (Ann) Randich. Dearest grandfather to John (Nikki), Tom (Tori), Kathryn and Claire Randich and 2 great-granddaughters, Gabriella and Liliana Randich. 3 sisters; Dorothy (late Norm) Stoiber, Eleanor (late Vic) Carlson and Patricia (John) Skoog; 2 brothers, Ed (late Ann) Randich and Don Randich; 3 sisters-in-law, Lillian Randich, Linda Randich and Bette Randich. A very special brother-in-law, Wilbur A�??Uncle WillA�?i�� Rodeghero, for his many countless years of help and support to our family. Numerous nieces, and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Patricia (nee Wicevic) Randich. 2 sisters; Marian (Al) Wason and Irene (Bill) Glad; 3 brothers, Lawrence and James Randich, and Robert (in infancy).

John was born in Crest Hill and has resided in the Joliet area for most of his life. He was a graduate of Chaney Grade School and Lockport High School. John was a United States Army Veteran serving his country during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1991 from Olin (Blockson) Chemical Corp. after 30 years of employment. John was a life member of V.F.W. Cantigny Post #367, and the Chaney Progressive Club. He was also a devout catholic and faithful parishioner of St. AnneA�??s Parish in Crest Hill. John was avid sports fan, and very dedicated to watching his children and grandchildren play in all of their activities.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. AnneA�??s Catholic Church Building Fund, or the Joliet Area Community Hospice in his name, would be appreciated.

Funeral services for John L. Randich will be held Tuesday April 17, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m.
