John T. Querio

John T. Querio ""Johnnie"" Born April 20, 1961 Passed away suddenly March 8, 2010. John was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle and a friend to all he met.

John was a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School where he played Baseball and Football. Retired from the City of Joliet. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving, devoted wife and best friend Anne Mudron-Querio and his daughters whom he adored, Neal Marie and Ryann Maureen Querio all of Joliet.

He is also survived by his sisters Debbie (Greg) Vidmar and Jacquie (Mike) Mackey; his brothers Rick (Sue) and Jim (Kathy) Querio; his brothers-in-law Pat (Andi) and Marty (Mary Ann) Mudron; sister-in-law Maureen Mudron; his very special nephews and nieces Chris and Jon Vidmar, Patrick Querio, Matt and T.J. Mackey, Shamus (Mary) Mudron, Kara Querio and Marissa (Tim) Fears, Bridget, Morgan and Kaitlin Mudron; his Aunt Anita (Bob) Nichols; Uncle Jerry (Mary) Querio; cousins; his special friends Chester Wartenberg and Greg Murphy; and his faithful pets Petey and Abby.

Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Joann (nee Steffes) Querio, his brother Robert (BJ) Querio and grandparents Gento and Mary Querio and Elery and Jane Steffes.

John was a special person who cared deeply for all family and friends. He would willingly drop everything to aid a person in need. He constantly inspired people with his strength and courage while battling the debilitating effects of young-onset Parkinson"s disease. This world won"t be the same without him but his impressions will be on the hearts of all he knew.

Please omit flowers memorials in his memory to be used for his girl"s education fund, Parkinson Research and Will County Humane Society.

Funeral Services will be held Friday March 12, at the funeral home at 9:30 am to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 3 to 8 PM.
