John A�??JackA�?i�� W. Matison, age 73, passed away on July 8, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet with his family by his side. Jack was born November 20, 1938 in Dixon, IL. He was a graduate of Elgin High School. Jack was the owner of Matison Wholesale Meat business for 40 years. He was a loyal St. Louis Cardinal fan and Green Bay Packer Fan.
Preceded in death by his father Allen Matison; Stepfather Marvin Wienke; Brother Eugene Matison.
Survived by his wife Carol (Nee Hattendorf) of 37 years; Mother Beatrice Wienke; Daughters Lori (Mark) Gould, Vicki (Rob) Churnovic, Juli (Tony) Wellner, Jami (Tom) Frantini, Johnel (Dennis) Muczynski; Stepsons Rick and Jeff Rippberger; Sister Mary Ritt; Eleven grandchildren; Numerous great friends.
