Survived by his loving wife of 53 years Dolores G. (nee Bostjancic), children Daniel, Judy (Phillip) Stewart, Robert (Colleen), grandchildren, Christopher, Marisa, Laurel, Erek, Maria, Mallory, Henry, Sophie, two sisters Agnes Peterson, Fran Butterfield, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by parents Albert and Mary (nee Babula) Krzysciak, brother Joseph and sisters Jennie, Mary, and Helen.
Veteran of the US Navy, Korean War serving on the USS MT. Olympus. Retired as a self-employed carpenter. Member of Carpenters Local 174, St. Joseph Senior Citizens, Cantigny Post VFW, KSKJ St. Genevieve, Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Church Rockdale.
Memorial donations to St. Joseph Church or St. JudeA�??s Research Hospital will be appreciated. John was a loving and caring husband and father who loved his Catholic Faith and Polish Heritage. He loved spending time with family friends and his grandchildren
A Celebration of Johns Life will begin with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, then in procession to St. Joseph Church Joliet on for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM.
