John F. Cerovac Age 83. At rest Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Marilyn J. (nee Bolan) Cerovac; his loving children, Mi chael (Deb) Cerovac, Cindy (Michael) Siron, Lori (Dale) Gilbertson, Daniel (Rosann) Cerovac, Kathy (Mark) Stokke and John Cerovac. Dearest grandfather to Jennifer (Brian) Claridge, Tony (Heather) and Dominic Cerovac, Christian and Alissa Siron, Katie and Nicholas Munchalfen, Alex and Kelsey Cerovac, Tommy and Kris Stokke and Mellissa (Derek) Elftman; his great grandchildren, Eban and Kylee Cerovac and Marisa and Hailey Claridge; a sister, Olga (Chuck) Caley; and a sister-in-law, Rosemary (late Robert) Cerovac. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna (nee Drascic) Cerovac; a sister, Mary (Louis) Frattini; two brothers, Robert Cerovac and Vladimir in infancy; and a great granddaughter, Danelle S. Munchalfen. John was born in Pinguente, Italy and has resided in the Joliet and Plainfield areas for most of his life. He retired in 1979 from Olin Chemical Co. John was a U.S. Army Veteran in World War II serving in the European Theatre. John devoted his life to his wife and his children. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Research Association, in his name would be appreciated.
