At rest Tuesday April 28, 2009 at his late residence in Joliet formerly of Las Vegas Survived by his wife of 21 years Linda L. Beckham (nee Dragovan), three sons, John III, Josh and James, his mother Merline Upchurch of Shorewood,, brothers and sisters Bobby of CA., Jack of WI., Dianne Chisenall of Joliet, Wanda (Dan) Hennessy of Diamond, Barb (Roger) McDaniel of Crest Hill, Mike (Laura) Upchurch of Plainfield, Kaye (Larry) Ferguson of Lombard, Tammy (Jeff) Maier of Shorewood, numerous nieces, nephews and aunts also survive. Preceded in death by his father John L. Beckham Sr. paternal grandmother Bessie Hocutt, step father James H. Upchurch, Aunt Peggy Orman Loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles and his dog Belladonna and loved to cook on his smoker grill.
Where services will be held Monday May 4 at 12 Noon with rev. John Doyle officiating. Interment Abraham Lincoln national Cemetery. Visitation Monday 10:00 AM until time of service
