John A. Bajt

John A. Bajt, age 90, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Eleanor (nee Szepelak); loving children, Denise (Jim) Gray and Bill (Teresa) Bajt; cherished grandchildren, Jeff (Jennifer) Gray and Debra (John) Ford, Kelly Lynn (Matthew) Boley and Mary Jo (Ian) Botnick; cherished great-grandchildren, Kaeli, John Jr., Camryn, Adyson, Madelyn, and William; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Antonia (nee Grabach) Bajt; and brother, Louis (Helen) Bajt.
John worked for many years at Beutel Motors and Meadow Gold Dairy. John and Eleanor were charter parishioners of St. Mary Magdalene before the church was constructed and was an usher for over 20 years. He was also a member of St. Mary Magdalene Holy Name Society.

A Celebration of John’s life will begin on Thursday, December 24, 2015 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet.
