Joanne E. (Northrup) Davis-Harmon

Joanne E. Davis-Harmon, (nee Northrup), age 85, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018.

Joanne is survived by her loving children, Stephen (Kathleen) Harmon and Douglas (Mary) Harmon; brother, James Northrup; cherished grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, and Timothy Harmon, Alana and Austin Harmon, Robert (Kristin) Bryant, and Vicky (Wayne) Greenwood; great-grandchildren Michael, Sydney, Alex, Haley, Elainah, and Dean.

Preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Harmon; her second husband, Stanley Davis; daughter, Valorie Bryant, and son-in-law, Phillip Bryant.

Joanne was an avid traveler and loved to visit places such as South Carolina, Hawaii, and Australia. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joanne’s name may be made to the Helping Hand Center School for Autism (9649 W. 55th Street - Countryside, IL 60525) or Autism Speaks (3500 W. Peterson Ave. Suite 204 - Chicago, IL 60659).

A celebration of Joanne’s life will begin on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 with a prayer service in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Plainfield Township Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet) from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
