Joan M. VanDeventer, age 87, of Joliet formerly of Aurora, at rest on Wednesday, March 13, 2013; Survived by her loving daughter, Mary (Tim A.) Kanive; dear grandchildren, Tim E. (Sarah) Kanive and Andrea (Matt) Rickmon and her cherished great-grandson, Jacob Rickmon.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry L. VanDeventer; parents, William and Margaret Pelling; and brother, Darwin Pelling.
Joan was employed at the former MerchantsA�?? National Bank in Aurora for many years.

A Celebration of Joan and HarryA�??s life will be held together on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 with family and friends meeting at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood for a committal service to begin promptly at 11:00 am.
