Jerry D. Robinson
Age 67. At rest Wednesday September 14, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet with his family by his side. Jerry was born in Doniphan, MO and resided in Joliet for most of his lifetime. He retired in 2004 from Chicago Carbon Co. formerly Unical after 20 years of service. While there he was also serving as the Chief Union Stewart for Oil Chemical Atomic Workers Local #7517. Jerry loved and enjoyed his grandchildren. He was an avid follower of the stock market. Jerry loved life, had many friends, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Survived by his loving wife of 46 years Brenda J. (nee Banta). 2 children; Lisa (John) Murray, and Bryan (Suzi) Robinson, two adoring grandchildren Jack and Will Murray; a sister Janice Quinn. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents James C. and Deslee (nee Combs) Robinson; a brother James L. Robinson.
Funeral services for Jerry D. Robinson will be held Saturday September 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at:
