Jerome L. Kren

Jerome L. Kren "Romey," age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Jerome was born and raised in Joliet, IL and retired as a Captain from the City of Joliet Police Department.
Jerome is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Kren (nee Billy); children, James "Jim" Kren and Andrea A. (James) Wendell; grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Kren, Amy A. (Nick) Wendell-Blish and Joseph Wendell; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary (nee Rogina) Kren; 2 brothers, Bernard (Ceil) and Lavern John (Betty) Kren.
Memorials in Jerome's name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
Per Jerome's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Jerome's life will begin on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be held privately.
