Age 82, at rest Monday January 10, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by two sisters Bernice (late Walter) Carter and Agnes (late Fred) Horvat, two sisters ""A�??in-law Vida (late Raymond) and Mary (late Robert) Jakovich. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Marian (nee Kostyk) Jakovich, parents John and Mary (nee Musich) Jakovich, one sister Marie Jakovich, four brothers John, Raymond , Robert Jakovich and Joseph in infancy. Jerome was born in Joliet and a life long resident. He retired from Argonne National Lab as a carpenter and was a US Army veteran.
Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday January 13, 2011 at 11AM, then will proceed to St. Joseph Church Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10AM until time of prayers.
