Jennie T. Priyatel

Jennie T. Priyatel (nee Plut), age 99, entered eternal life on Wednesday, August 19, 2015.
Jennie is survived by her sister, Bernadine (the late Paul) Madronich of San Francisco, CA; sisters-in-law, Dolores (the late Alex), Eileen (the late Bernard), Betty (the late John), and Pat (the late Robert) Plut; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Preceded in death by her late husband, Frank Priyatel; former husband, James Sheehan; dear son, Kenneth Judnick; parents, Alex and Jennie (nee Turk) Plut; brothers, Joseph (Mary), Frank (Sophie), Alex, Tony, Albin (Helen), Stanley, John, Bernard, and Robert Plut; sisters, Mary (John) Anzelc and Millie (William) Zugel.
Jennie and her late husband, Jim, owned and operated "Jim and Jen's Tavern" from the mid 50's to the mid 60's. She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed watching and feeding birds. The greatest love of her life was her son, Kenny.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Lakewood Nursing Home for the excellent care provided.
A Celebration of Jennie's life will begin on Saturday, August 29, 2015 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. Interment of cremated remains to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. There will be no visitation or services held at the funeral home.
