Jeanine Marie Gauer

Jeanine Marie Gauer, age 58, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Jeanine is survived by her loving daughters, Angela (Brad) Freeman, Andrea (Tom) Cebrzynski; grandchildren, Nia, Carson, Anthony and Mason; fiancé, Terry Gruber; parents, Charlotte Loid and Richard Platt; sisters, Dorianne (David) Block, Patricia Powers, Colleen (Buster) Garner, Deborah Lehew and Cynthia Platt; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Jeanine retired from Exelon. She was a devoted mother and Nana who loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Traveling, going to St. Joes Park and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events gave her great joy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanine’s name to Gift of Hope would be appreciated.

A celebration of Jeanine’s life will begin on Saturday, September 9, 2017 with a memorial visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 5:00 p.m. Cremation rites have been accorded.
