Jeanette "Nana" F. (Fedora) Liddle

Jeanette F. (nee Fedora) Liddle, age 79, passed away peacefully at Joliet Area Community Hospice on Saturday, May 20, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Jeanette is survived by her loving children, Gregory Liddle, Cathleen Liddle and Charleen (Michael) Contos; grandchildren, Kaitlin Contos, Anthony M. Contos, Jennifer (Keagan Eppler) Liddle, Timmy (Solana Villarruel) Pivonka, Nick (Holly Bandur) Pivonka, Matt (Ryan) Pivonka and Jessica (James) Lewis; great-grandchildren, Braxton Liddle, Rylen Eppler, Niko, Felix, Josey, Jase, Payton, Elena, Thea, Sean, Saddie and Brooklyn; brother, Joseph (Evelyn) Fedora; aunt, Francis Vivod; special niece and nephews, Jolene, Jay and Jeff; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles W. Liddle (2004); daughter, Julieann F. Liddle (2005); and parents, Joseph G. and Catherine M. (nee Crnkovich) Fedora.
Jeanette, better known as Nana, attended Illinois State University and later went on to graduate with a B. S. in education from Governors State University. She was a past president of the Providence Mother’s Club. Jeanette was an avid swimmer and a city champion diver. She taught in the Joliet area public and Catholic schools. After retirement she went on to own and operate her own small business in Wilmington, IL. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an amazing mother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to send a special thank you to Joliet Area Community Hospice and staff.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice, Providence Catholic High School or Joliet West High School Bands.
A celebration of Jeanette’s life will begin on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 with a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home 1211 Plainfield Rd. Joliet. Per Jeanette’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be held privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
