Born in Quincy, Illinois on November 5, 1924 to Alphonse and Johanna Stroot.

Preceded in death by her husband, Frank A�??FritzA�?i�� Fehrenbacher in 1991; her sisters, Marian Seifert and Edwina Terwelp and brother, Stan Stroot.

Survived by her children, Mark (Judy), Mary Jo (James) Gasparich, Susan, Frank Jr. (Linda), David (Sheri Johnson), Ann (Stephen) Lefkovits, George A. , Christopher (Laura); by

grandchildren, Matthew Gasparich, Sara Gasparich, Elizabeth (Matthew) Main, Frank III, Andrew (Vanessa), Steven, Kali, Alyssa Fehrenbacher, Marcus Lefkovits, Lorenz, Lilliana, Levi Fehrenbacher and Tania Barajas; great-grandchildren, Brody Main, Beckett Main, and Brantley Fehrenbacher.

Also survived by her sister, Maxine Larson Seifert; sisters-in-law, Norma Stroot, Jo Ann (Tom) Sprague, Marian (Dick) Leaman and Jane (Dick) Talbot; brother-in-law, George Fehrenbacher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeanette was a registered nurse in Quincy, Illinois where she met her future husband. She was a member of the V and A Society, St. JosephA�??s Hospital Auxiliary, the CCW of the Cathedral of St. Raymond, the Mothers Clubs at Joliet Catholic and St. Francis Academy including the Jubilation Committee and other numerous local organizations. Jeanette was one of the first volunteers for Joliet Hospice. Together with her husband, Fritz, she started FehrenbacherA�??s Individual Fashion in 1963.

We would like to thank the staff at Willow Falls, Dr. Brian Ragona and his staff, and the Joliet Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donation would be appreciated to Sisters of St. Francis, V and A Society and Joliet Hospice.

Visitation will be on Friday December 14, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tezak Funeral Home. Also there will be a visitation on Saturday morning, December 15th at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home, 1201 Wyoming Avenue, Joliet, from 10:00 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am. Services will conclude with the mass, cremation rites were accorded, and interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood at a later date.
