Jean M. Scully
June 2, 1925 — February 20, 2014
Jean M. Scully (nee Whitgrove), Age 88, entered eternal life on Thursday, Febraury 20, 2014 with her loving family by her side.
Jean is survived by her beloved children, Maureen (John) Levesque, Michael (Ann) Scully, Marianne (Mike) Avon, James (Vicki) Scully, and William (Ann) Scully; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, George W. Scully; sister, Marge Bockrath; and brother Raymond and William Whitgrove.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Jean's name to Joliet Area Community Hospice or a charity of your choice.
A celebration of Jean's life will begin on Monday, February 24, 2014 with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Memorial Mass to be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Joliet.
As a personal act of giving, Jean donated her body for medical research to the Anatomical Gift Association, and cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no visitation or services held at the funeral home.
