Janine M. (Konopek) Kaye
July 23, 1969 — December 4, 2015
After a courageous battle with cancer, Janine Marie Kaye (nee Konopek) went to Heaven on December 4, 2015 in Joliet, IL at the age of 46 surrounded by her husband, friends, and family. She leaves behind her husband, Sean Kaye; her two sons, Jacob and Logan; her parents, John and Rose Konopek; her brother, John (Maureen) Konopek; her niece Caitlin and nephews, Nick, Leo, Cole, John, and Caleb; and countless friends and family.
Janine is preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Mary Dorr and John and Jennie Konopek; her aunt, Norine Mulbarger; her uncle, Leonard Dorr; and her cousin, Cynthia Dorr.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire medical staff at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center who helped to support Janine through her journey.

A Celebration of Janine’s life will begin on Monday, December 7, 2015 with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends to meet directly at the church. Interment to follow at St Joseph Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be Sunday, December 6 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet.
