Janice K. (Kelly) Kiss

Janice K. Kiss (nee Kelly), age 66, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 9, 2016.
Janice is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, William Kiss; siblings, Fred (Sandra) Kelly, Joyce (the late John) Thurston; brother-in-law, Donald (Donna); nieces, Lindsey, Natalie, Denise, Michelle and Kristy; nephews, Dan, Shane, Sean, Eddy and Mike; great-nieces and nephews, Haley, William Jr., Evan, Leah, Emily, Aubrey and Sammy; great-great-niece, Braylynn.
Preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Fred Kelly; mother and father-in-law, Christian and Margaret Kiss and Brother-in-law, John Thurston.
Janice was born and raised in Rockdale and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and grade school in Rockdale. She loved things of beauty. Janice also enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, crossword puzzles and going to the casino. She was an animal enthusiast and had a special love for cats.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice’s name to the Humane Society of the United States would be appreciated.
A celebration of Janice’s life will begin on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 with a service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Jim Lennon officiating. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Tezak Funeral Home 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
