Janeth S. (Startz) Connor-Grogg

Janeth S. Connor-Grogg (nee Startz), age 56, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 11, 2016.

Janeth is survived by her loving children, Kyle Connor, Zach Connor, Deanna Grogg, Connie Grogg and Herb Grogg; five grandchildren, Tyler Cole-Connor, Mallorie Grogg, Adriana Connor, Mackenzie Grogg and Axel Connor; siblings, Robert (Ellen) Startz, Elizabeth (Frank) Stec, Tony Startz, JoAnn (Nick) Bravato, James Cox, Linda Marcolina, Judith Moats and Mike Startz; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Constance Startz; brother, Howard Startz.

Janeth was a lifelong resident of the Joliet area. She was employed by the United States Postal Service for most of her career. She was a wonderful, forgiving, caring, generous, giving person and a special aunt to Stephanie, Stacey and David. The light of her life were her grandchildren. She was an excellent mother who will be missed more than words can describe.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Tezak Funeral Home to help fund the funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.

The family invites relatives and friends to gather on Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
