Janet Mary (Mullen) Rauscher

Janet Mary Rauscher, age 56, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

Janet is survived by her mother, Patricia (nee Smith) Mullen; siblings, Michael (the late Denise) Mullen, Barbara (Walter) Sledz and William (Wendy) Mullen; nieces and nephews, Martin Mullen, Madeline Mullen and Edward Roach, Walter (Andrea) Sledz, Daniel Sledz, William Mullen, Michael Mullen, Sara Mullen and Sean Mullen; and great-nephew, Carter Sledz.

Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Rauscher; father, Martin Mullen; brother, Martin Mullen.

Janet was an animal lover and her dogs were her greatest joy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet’s name to the Animal Welfare League would be appreciated.

The family invites relatives and friends to gather on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church, 11652 S. Church Street, Chicago, IL 60643 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 9:30 a.m. A celebration of Janet’s life will follow the Mass in the church reception hall from 10:15 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date. There will be no funeral home services.
