Age 73. At rest Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at his late residence. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda C. (nee

Polmonari); his children, Susan, James (Laura), Raymond (Donna), and Mary (John) Fonck; grandfather of Christopher, Sean, Andrew, Zachary, Lauren and Daniel ""BO"" Randich, Nathaniel and Lindsay Fonck; three sisters, Dorothy (Norm) Stoiber, Eleanor Carlson, and Patricia (John) Skoog; three brothers, Edward (late Ann), John (Carol), and Donald (Bette) Randich; a sister-in-law, Lillian (late Lawrence) Randich; and a brother-in-law, Albert (late Marian) Wason. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Patricia (nee Wicevic) Randich; two sisters, Marian Wason, and Irene (William) Glad; and two brothers, Lawrence and Robert Randich (in infancy). James was born in Crest Hill, and had been a life long resident of Joliet. A veteran of the U.S. Navy serving on the Air Craft Carrier U.S.S. Mindoro. He retired from Northern Illinois Gas Co. after 36 years of service. James was also a member of the Senior Citizens Association, Joliet Rivals, and served as an usher at St. Anne Church in Crest Hill for over 40 years. Jim could be seen at all of his grandchildren's sporting events and school activites.
