James J. Muhich Sr

James J. Muhich Sr., age 71, entered eternal life on Saturday, April 4, 2015 after a courageous battle of a chronic illness.

James is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sharon T. Muhich (nee Brencich); children, James (fiancAC.e Danielle Petrovich) Muhich Jr., Kimberly Muhich, and William Muhich; daughter-in-law, Nichole Muhich; one sister, Dorothy (John) Otte; dearest mother-in-law, Frances Brencich; one niece and one nephew.

Preceded in death by his parents, Frank (1970) and Josephine (1999) Muhich; brother, William Muhich (1951).

James was the owner and operator of Jim's Body Shop in Crest Hill, IL for 52 years. James enjoyed flying homing pigeons, fishing and hunting.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the University of Chicago Medicine and staff, especially nurse Rae for her care.

A Celebration of James' life will begin on Saturday, April 11, 2015 meeting at Holy Family Catholic Church in Shorewood for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL from 4-9 p.m.
