James L. Legan

Age 76. At rest on Monday, September 3, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center.
Loving father of Christopher Legan and Phillip (Joyce) Legan; devoted grandfather of Gavin; brothers and sisters Rosemarie (Raymond) Novak, Nancy (Ron) Thorndyke, Pat (late Gerald J.) Jaskowiak, Lois (late Robert) Noble, Ernest (Ruby) Legan, Judy Legan, Joni (Steve) Clyatt and Tom Legan. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Louis J. and Stella (nee Slapnicar) Legan.
James was born in Rockdale, raised in Joliet. Retired in 1990 as a Captian for Pan Am Airlines. Veteran of the U.S. Air Force in the Korean Conflict.
From where services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 10:30 AM to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
