James Dale Brown

James Dale Brown, age 57, entered into eternal life on Saturday, October 15, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

James is survived by his loving mother, Gladys Lakotich (nee Dean); loving sister, Donna (Thomas) Bourg; loving daughters, Julie Poker, Karen Zimmer, and Wendy Brown; beloved nephew, Dakota Adams; beloved niece, Brittany Adams; cherished grandchildren, Krista, Alyssa, Clara, Alexandria, Kristyn, Tristan, and Ivy; as well as loving nieces and nephews, Jenny (Jeff) Govoni, Thomas (Grace) Bourg Jr., Tiffany (Michael) Reilly, Bradley (Amy) Bourg, and Brandi Upchurch; cherished great nieces and great nephews.

Preceded in death by his sister, Dawn Lakotich Adams.

Jim worked for Budreck Trucking for numerous years. He loved being on the open road and traveling the country. He was a very generous and kind man who was very devoted to his family. He was a very proud Uncle who was loved by all.

Funeral services for James will begin on Friday, October 21, 2016 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:00 a.m. then driving in procession to Pathway Christian Fellowship Church, 19554 N.W. Frontage Road, Shorewood, IL 60404, for a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs, IL. Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL 60435.
