Age 74, at rest Thursday November 25, 2010 at Silver Cross Hospital. Survived by his beloved wife of 38 years JoAnne (nee Tadey) Belk, loving father of Brenda (Robert) Dixon, Jay Dee (Gary) Cook, Jimmylin (Phillip) Landsman and James Von Belk, dearest grandfather of John Allen (Cassandra), Emily, Hannah, Ernie, Seth and Henry. 3 great grandchildren C.J., Jonathan and Atticus, one sister Ruth Brand, one brother Dennis Belk also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents James Belk and Viola Belk. James was born in Niota, TN. Resided in Joliet for the past 38 years. At James request cremation rites were accorded and private services were held.
