James D. Allen ""Papa Allen"" Age 60. Suddenly Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at his residence. Born May 25, 1945 in Joliet to the late Laverne D. and Marion (nee Spriggins) Allen. Retired from Argonne National Laboratory and Dept. of Energy. Member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Joliet Lodge #300. A 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #382, James was a Past Grand Knight District Deputy, and Illinois State Activity Director. He was a member of the South Wilmington Sportsman's Club. James was also an avid golfer, fisherman, and gardener. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by the love of his life, his wife of 34 years, Georgette C. (nee Kusnik); his daughter, Kelly C. Trevizo (son-in-law, Vincent Trevizo). Proud papa of Spencer and Zackary; his brother and best friend, Robert W. Allen; his Uncle Harold and Aunt Ellison Allen. Dearest cousin of Thomas (Dorothy) Allen and their son T.C., and Dennis (Peg) Allen, his buddy sister-in-law, Carol (Bob) Cimino, a brother-in-law, George (Deb) Kusnik, nephew, godson and fishing buddy,Shawn D. Allen, godson, Matthew Cimino, Emily (Josh) Cimino, Kourtney, Kristin, and Kevin Kusnik. Dearest friends, Matt and Trisha Gray. Numerous cousins also survive. Memorials to the American Heart Association, in his name would be appreciated.
