Jacqueline R. Gibbons, age 67, of Joliet, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 5, 2010.
She is survived by; her daughter Kimberly (Christopher) Brady, of Channahon; grandchildren Justin, Alyssa, Cameron, and Jordan Butler, and Grace Brady, all of Channahon; sisters Bobbie Martin and Sharon (Dennis) Madding; brothers Robert ""Buddy"" Allen and Lloyd (fiancA�?A�AC.e Jayne Odegaard) Allen; her sister-in-law Susan (Rick) Rimbo; her best friend of 53 years, Judy Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by; her husband, Edward (1987); her sons, David (2002) and Jeff (1989); her parents, Clementine (nee Karcz) and Robert Allen; and her sister, Donna Rasmussen.
Jackie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #1080. She was an excellent cook who loved to bake for her family and friends. Her specialty was loving her children and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Jackie"s Life will begin at 10 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 8, 2010 from 3 ""A�?? 8 PM.
