Survived by his children, Mario (Pam) of Plainfield, IL, Mirjana Dukovac of Chicago, Nick of Shorewood, IL, and Jamie Miller of Heiskell, TN; granddaughters, Lauren, Emily, Brielle, Arizona, and Cassidy; also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Kata Dukovac; and sister, Ivka (Mile) Basta.
Born in Croatia in 1940, immigrated to the United States with his family in 1972. Devoted member of the Croatian Cultural Club. Retired from Boilermakers Local #1. Ivan was committed to helping others and known for his cooking 'lamb will never be the same.'
From where services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 10:30 AM to St. Mary Nativity for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-8 PM.
