Irene I. Peceniak (nee Kovalcik)
Peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Meadowbrook Manor in Bolingbrook.
Loving mother of Michael (Judy) and Richard (Audrey) Peceniak and Judy (Ed) Kipilla; devoted grandmother to Nancy (Chris) Bebar and Renea and Michael Kipilla; great-grandmother of Christopher, Jacob, Matthew and Zachary Bebar and Olivia Newell. Also survived by one sister, Cecil (Ed) Vidmar; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by her loving husband, Michael Peceniak; parents, Stephen and Julia (Marusak) Kovalcik; two brothers Stephen ""Mickey"" (late Mary) and Raymond Kovalcik; four sisters, Pauline (late John) Tichey, Julie (late Joseph) Jurvich, Margaret (late Charles) Rapp and Dorothy (late Don) Siefert and one grandson, Richy Peceniak.
Irene was a parishioner of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church and worked for many years at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home and Silver Cross Hospital in the kitchen.

From where services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 10:30am to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. Visitation from 4 - 7pm Friday, February 16, 2007.
