Irene M. Dufour (nee Brisart) Age 89, at rest Thursday, October 20, 2005 at her home with her family by her side. Loving mother of Victor E. Dufour, Alice (Arthur) ""Skip"" Kraus and daughter-in-law, Jackie (late Paul L.) Dufour. Dearest grandmother of 14, Barbara (Matthew) Aharrah, Edward (Tracie), Victor (Chela) and Chrissy Dufour, Lynn (Dave) Lihosit, Karen (Bruce) May, Janet Dufour, Aline (Dave) Click, Annette (Richard) Corrigan, Anita (Philip) Lane, Angela, Arthur (Joyce), Anthony and Andrew Kraus; and 31 great-grandchildren; one sister, Alida (late Raymond) Zupancic; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by her husband, Edward L. Dufour (1976); one son, Paul Leonard Dufour; parents, Leonard and Alice (nee Malapel) Brisart; and one brother, Constant (Dorothy) Brisart. Irene was born in Livingston, IL, resided in Joliet most of her lifetime. Past member of Ingalls Park Ladies Aux. Donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
