Irene M. Chinderle, 98, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Joliet, Ill.
A lifelong resident of Will County, Irene was a member of the St Mary Nativity Council of Catholic Women, Jo-Ann Club, and she worked with bingo for 60yrs. A member of the Cantigny VFW Post 347 and active with the Disabled American Veterans for many years. She also was secretary for the Senior Citizens Association where she was nominated to the 1995 Hall of Fame. Irene worked for 25 years with Joliet Ceramics.
Preceded in death by her husband: Martin F. Chinderle; son: Stephen Chinderle: grandson: Brad Chinderle and her parents: Stephen and Martha Jagodzinski; sister: Angeline Hoster and her brother in law Lloyd Hoster.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Martin F. (Debra) Chinderle Jr, Brian (Maryann) Chinderle and Pamela (Philip) Spotofora; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Patti Chinderle as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet with a celebration of Irene’s life to held at St Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church, 706 N. Broadway St, Joliet, IL. On Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at St Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Mary's Nativity Catholic Church, 706 N. Broadway St, Joliet,IL or to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet,IL
