Ines M. (Martinez) Borrego

Ines M. Borrego (nee Martinez), age 75, born into eternal life on Saturday, December 9, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Ines is survived by her loving children, Yolanda Borrego, Frank (Heidi) Borrego, Nancy (Andres) Nunez and Linda Aguirre; grandchildren, Alina, Alexandria, Joel Jr., Andy III, Daniel, Angelica, Steven I., Monica, Adrian, Nikolas, Ines and Lauryn; great-grandchildren, Anaya, Analyse, Christina, Addilyn, Lauryn, Violet and Kaiden; siblings, Esperanza (Francisco) Delangel, Angel Martinez, Margarita (Alfredo) Oviedo and Artemio (the late Ester) Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Borrego Sr. (2007); son, Victor M. Borrego (2010); daughter, Delia (2015) (Raful 2017) Garcia; infant son, Francisco Borrego Jr.; siblings, Bonifacio Martinez and Benita Cruz.
Ines was an outstanding homemaker who loved comforting her family, especially her precious grandchildren, and providing them advice even when it wasn’t asked for. Her beauty was outstanding; she was never seen without makeup and loved her bling and jewelry. Ines never grew old, she bragged about being such a young 75 year old. She was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. Ines also loved to garden, being outside, shopping, fashion, fine dining and cooking. She was known for making the absolute best flour tortillas. Ines will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ines’ name to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
The family invites relatives and friends to gather at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Per Ines’ wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be no funeral home visitation or services.
