Herman A. Kabara

Herman A. Kabara, Age 86, entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 with his loving family by his side.
Herman is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Dorothy (nee Dernulc); loving daughter, Debbie (Edward) Biros; cherished grandchildren, Joshua (Kristin), Ryan (Jenny), Meaghan, and Joseph; dear sister, Irene Baggett; dear sisters-in-law, Lois Pirc, Rosemary Malarich; special friends, Janet, Angie, Ray, and Jeanie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lottie (nee Pszanka) Kabara; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rudy and Jennie Dernulc; brothers, Edmond and Floyd; sisters-in-law, Gloria Bell; brothers-in-law, George Bell, Raymond Pirc, Edward Malarich, and Carl Baggett; and dear niece, Vicki Boseo.
Herman was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from Caterpillar after employment for over 35 years. He was a parishioner at St Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill. He was also a member of the Caterpillar Retirees Club. Herman and Dorothy would have celebrated their 60th anniversary on Thursday, June 26. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Herman's life will begin on Saturday, June 28, 2014 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:45 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill.
