Henry L. Adamic ""Hank""
At rest on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 after a full life. Survived by his wife, Lillian (nee Potochnic); children, Henry ""Bud"" (Linda) of Jacksonville, FL, James (Ann) of Overland Park, KS, Ellen Mattox of Naples, FL, David of Joliet, and Douglas also of Joliet. Also survived by siblings, Sr. Cecelia Adamic of Lemont, IL, Fr. Albert Adamic of Evergreen Park, IL, Raymond Adamic of Joliet and Walter (Barbara) Adamic of Joliet. Preceded in death by a son, Gerald; his parents, John and Anna (nee Grebenc) Adamic; his brother, John; two sisters, Sr Cherubim Adamic and Julie Adamic and a brother in childhood. Henry was born in Joliet and a lifelong resident. He was a decorated US Army veteran of WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was a Teamster for Local #179 for many years. Member of American Legion Post 1080, Cantigny Post VFW, K.S.K.J. and St. Joseph Parish Senior Citizens and Men's Holy Name Society. Tezak's Home to Celebrate LifeA�?A�A� 1211 Plainfield Rd. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Family requests memorials to St. Joseph Grade School Memorial Fund in Henry's name.
