Helen (Karnas) Wisniewski

Helen Wisniewski (nee Karnas), age 96, entered into eternal life on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Salem Village Nursing Home.

Helen is survived by her loving daughter, Donna (Ronald) Blazekovich; grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Mark and Scott (Allison) Blazekovich; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wisniewski Sr. (1984); son, Frank Wisniewski Jr. (1996); parents, Andrew and Anna (nee Perun) Karnas; brothers and sisters.

Helen was born and raised in Joliet and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Joliet. She will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.

A celebration of Helen’s life will begin on Thursday, February 22, 2018 with a visitation at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt.
