Helen M. Rusina

Helen M. Rusina (nee Gorka), Age 94, entered eternal life on Monday, May 26, 2014.
Helen is survived by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Rusina (2003); parents, Martin and Bertha (nee Janek) Gorka; two sisters, Bernice (the late John) Vietoris and Leona (Charles) Lewandowski.
Helen and her husband, Stephen were lifelong parishioners of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus. Helen will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's name to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers of Meadowbrook Manor in Romeoville and the staff of Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care.
A Celebration of Helen's life will begin on Friday, May 30, 2014 with a Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus. Interment to follow at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Joliet. There will be no visitation or services held at the funeral home.
