Helen M Gasparich

Helen Marie Gasparich, age 82, died peacefully on September 9, 2011 at home after a 27 year battle with Parkinsons.

Survived by her husband of 62 years to Joseph L., Loving mother of Joseph (Anna), Jim (Mary Jo), Betsy (Rusty) Jessee, JoAnn (Leonard) Rittof, Bob (Adriana), Bill, Micki (John) Naal, Patti (Scott Multak) Diviero; proud grandmother of Christina (Andrew) Witt and Stephanie Gasparich, Matt and Sara Gasparich, Danielle and Joe Jessee, Nicole, Kelley and Jacob Gasparich, Austin, Nate and Jack Naal and Adrianna, Chris, David and Erica Diviero; great grandmother of Alex Witt; sister of Anna Mae (Dick) Thayer, sisters-in-law Mary Gasparich and Mary Lazar. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents Peter and Helen (nee Obsitnik) Lazar, brothers Peter, Arthur, Adam in infancy, sister Veronica (Mike) Gerberi and Roseanne in infancy, in-laws Thomas Gasparich and Marie (Frank) Spesia.

Helen was an active member of the Charismatic Prayer Community and loved praying with friends for the healing of others. God blessed her with the Joy of the ""Holy Spirit"". Our mom gave her family a love so great we wish to share it with all. She was an extraordinary person who devoted herself to serving others and never sought recognition for all her acts of kindness. She will be remembered for how many lives she touched with her love.

A Celebration of Helen"s life will begin on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 9:30 am with prayers at the funeral home chapel, then in procession to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, September 16 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
