Helen R. Baudek (nee Malnar) Age 88 of Crest Hill, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Helen is survived by one son, Robert of Crest Hill; two grandsons, Randall Baudek of Braidwood and Jeffrey Baudek of Joliet; two sisters, Mary Jane Pohlers of Joliet and Lillian Musich of St. Louis, MO; Dr. Thomas (Dawn) Musich of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law and very close friend, Lorraine Baudek; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis R. Baudek, U.S. Navy Veteran WWII; her parents, John and Mary (nee Sustarsic) Malnar. Helen lived in Joliet all her life before moving to Crest Hill in 1998. She worked in the Will County Circuit Clerks Office for 23 years. Helen loved to cook and bake. Playing the piano was her favorite hobby. She was once the organist at St. Mary Nativity Church in Joliet, and St. Anne Church in Crest Hill. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m.
