Dr. Harold G. Bicek, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday July 16, 2012.
Survived by his wife Joan Elizabeth Bicek (nee Jankovsky) of 57 years. His sons Dr. Paul (Gale Arend), David, and Thomas (Dr. Loretto Glynn) Bicek. Grandchildren Erin (Kenneth) Perry, Kristin (Brandon) Welch, Stephen (Alison) Bicek, Brian, Adrienne, Joseph, and Michael Bicek. Great Grandchildren Ryan, Brooks, and Aidan. Numerous colleagues and friends also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents Laddie and Helen Bicek; brother Donald Bicek; JoanA�??s parents Elizabeth and William Jankovsky, and his daughter Pamela Jean Bicek.
Harold resided in Plainfield and previously lived in Downers Grove. He practiced family medicine in Downers Grove, and was a founding father of Good Samaritan Hospital.

The Celebration of Harold G. BicekA�??s life will begin on Friday with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30am, then in procession to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be on Thursday at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1400 S. Wolf Rd. Hillside, IL 60126. Arrangements entrusted to Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
