Loving father of Bridget (Thomas) Ziesmer, Lisa (Phil) Ruiz, Peggy (Terry) Hylka and Jeff (Patty) McBride, dearest grandfather of Jeffrey, Christopher and Emilee Ziesmer, Casey Spreitzer, Conor Hylka, Kathleen and Sean McBride. Also survived by his loving fiancA�?A�AC.e Mary E. ""Betty"" Persico and her family Constance (Mark) Burcar and their daughter Alexandria Burcar. Preceded in death by his parents John G. and Ruby (nee Davis) McBride. Gordon was born in Joliet, IL. and was a life-long resident. He was co-owner of the Labor Record and retired from Illinois Department of Transportation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Joliet Area Hospice Home in his name would be appreciated.

The family of Gordon J. McBride invites relatives and friends to join them for a visitation at the funeral home on Friday, January 8, from 4 to 7pm, with a chapel service beginning at 7pm. Private family Interment services will be held on Saturday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. At Gordon"s request, cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.
