Gloria A Terlep

Gloria A. Terlep, age 76, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey W. (Patricia Tarrant) Terlep, Julie A. (James Darden) Terlep, and Kerry (Melissa Dibble) Terlep, grandchildren Johnnie Darden, Sophie Darden, and Samuel Terlep, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and a special niece, Jody Lakota who was more like a daughter. Gloria was preceded by her husband, Edward F. Terlep, her parents Joseph and Tranquilla (Kozlowski), brother Bernard (Ann) Kozlowski and sister Lois (Edward) Krezminski. She was the former owner of Gloria"s Interiors. She was a passionate flower gardener, growing perennials, annuals and herbs. Gloria lived in the kitchen. Cooking and baking were her indoor passions. A Celebration of Gloria"s Life will begin on Monday, July 18, 2011 with a memorial visitation from 9 AM until Mass at 10 AM at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, Joliet. Inurnment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
