Preceded in death by her parents Catherine nee Schutter and Raymond Goebel; one brother Raymond and numerous aunts and uncles.
Survived by her sister Kathleen (Tom) Longnecker, brother Donald (Uamporn) Goebel; nieces and nephews Lori (Ron) Campbell, Bradley and Sheri Longnecker, Julie (Deji) Washington, Todd (Kellie) Goebel, Shawn Goebel, and Brian (Krystle) Goebel; grand-nieces and nephews Daniel, Nicole and Debra Campbell, Amanda Longnecker, Allie and Katie Washington; one uncle Ed Schutter; numerous cousins also survive.
Gloria was a member of the Slovenian WomenA�??s Union, St. JohnA�??s Bowling League and was a past president of the Will County Florist Association. She was an avid Chicago White Sox fan and taught the youngsters how to play baseball. Gloria loved flowers and gardening. She has been a floral designer all of her life and was the manager of Tezak Florist. She previously worked at LaboA�??s Florist. Gloria enjoyed her vacations to Hawaii and Las Vegas.
Funeral services for Gloria K. Goebel will be held Monday June 4, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. JohnA�??s Catholic Church 404 North Hickory Street Joliet, IL 60435 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville IL. Visitation will be Sunday June 3, 2012 from 3-8 p.m.
