Gilda M. White
February 25, 1924 — March 9, 2013
Gilda M. White (nee Cipriani), age 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2013 with her loving family by her side.
Gilda is survived by her children Linda (James) Stevenson, Nancy (Fred W.) Guendling III, Joan (James) Haggard, Janet (Richard) Graham, Raymond (Vicky) White, Barbara (Tom) Hansen, and Diana (James) Vescovi; 18 grandchildren; one sister Rosalie Cipriani; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Nancy (nee Pacini) Cipriani; her husband James L. White; one son Stephen J. White; her brother Vincent (Grace) Cipriani; her sisters Tosca (Frank) Furlane and Teresa (Willy) Kezerle; and two granddaughters Christina Lynn Stevenson, Christine Lee Adlington.
Gilda was a lifelong resident of Joliet and an air brush artist for Gerlach Barklow Greeting Card Company for many years. She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending her time with her family. Gilda will be truly missed.

A Celebration of GildaA�??s life will begin on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home then driving in procession to St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial to take place at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life.
